As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Duties
- Perform MOT tests on cars, vans, and other vehicles in accordance with established regulations.
- Inspect vehicles for safety, roadworthiness, and emissions compliance.
- Identify and diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Complete detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of tests conducted.
- Communicate findings to workshop control clearly and professionally, providing recommendations for repairs when necessary.

Experience

Responsibilities

Qualifications

- Ability to upsell services confidently whilst maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Proficient in cash handling and transaction processing with attention to accuracy
- Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential; however, mobility is advantageous for this role
